Nellie's Sweet Shoppe - Smithville

One of our favorite places! You also have these little baby cones! The Fudge is amazing!

Have fun classic candy Chunky Bar, Bit-o-Honey, Mary Janes, Double Bubble, Chuckles, etc. Some different chocolates. Bottled so often (Pepsi) as well as unusual (speaker). They also serve Blue Bell ice cream. The place is spacious and very clean. Five or so tables if you like to sit to eat your treat.

What a sweet spot! Great fudge, as well as ice creams, jelly and other sweets. The owner is also very nice. A great find!

Some unexpected 80 degrees weather in February meant a trip for ice! This place is small but picturesque, and there is something special to suck the selection of steams, truffles and candy. My children chose their ice cream and brought them in side-by-side cones that I haven't seen for a long time! There is a green space right above the street, and we went outside to enjoy our cone in sunshine. I found this experience much more fun than a chain or go through ice rink. In addition, I feel happy to know that I support our community and a small business.

I just love this little old fashioned candy and fudge shoppe. The fudge is a little pricey for my taste but it's always a fun experience taking the kids to eye all the goodies and get some ice cream.
