The Watermill - Smithtown

I can’t thank you guys enough. Everyone of our guests was amazed by how beautiful the place looked, how great the food was, how attentive the staff was and how everything went so smoothly. My wife and I couldn’t have been more happier. We’re so glad that we walked into the WaterMill and had the amazing pleasure and opportunity to meet one of the best wedding coordinators in Rob!!. He had not only treated us with love but we now consider Rob honestly like family. Thank you again Rob for you and your amazing staff and service that you’ve provided!!I’m not saying it to gas you up or for review purposes… You honestly had a great impact on us. Your personality, aura and your energy was very comforting. You came across very genuine and provided us great incite and quality service. We definitely couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding. Thank you again Rob, Sean, Jessica and the rest of the WaterMill staff ! Love you guys and thanks again for making our wedding feel like a fairytale!!

I just had my wedding over this past weekend and it was seriously the time of my life. My heart was bursting from the amount of text messages I got from guests saying it was hands down the best wedding they have ever been to. My husband and I were treated like absolute royalty. Our Maitre Sean and attendants Cristina and Cindi were INCREDIBLE! I will forever keep this day in my heart and I would not recommend any other venue!!!!!

The Watermill is such a BEAUTIFUL place.The place itself is amazing, the decor is befitting, the food is amazing.. Ooh the Bacon Bar and the chocolate milk fountain to die for. The outside chapel and patio is the epitome of summer lounging.The people are just as amazing!Can't wait to attend more events here

We had the most perfect wedding that we could have ever asked for on June 10th, 2023 at Watermill thanks to Rob, Christina, Johnny, and Sean! We felt like royalty the day of our wedding and the guest are still raving about the food.My husband and I got engaged summer of 2021. We researched and toured over 40 venues across Long Island. We quickly fell in love with the Watermill like other venues on Long Island, it was a beautiful venue and we heard great things about the food. However, the differentiating factor for us was Thomas Lauterborn, the General Manager we booked with. Tom had all the right answers to MANY challenging questions from my husband and father we felt comfortable trusting him with the biggest day of our lives. Unfortunately, Tom had tragically passed away a year after we booked which was heartbreaking for us.As our wedding started to quickly approach, panic set in as I began to worry that no one would be able to fill Tom’s shoes. I went to a showcase to meet the other banquet managers/directors and from the second I met Rob, I knew he was a match for us and all my stress instantly melted away. Rob was an absolute pleasure to work with he was able to keep up with my BIG personality and quickly responded to all my questions via text/emails/calls (sorry, Rob lol). Anyone who had the pleasure to meet Tom knows how tremendously hard it is to fill his shoes and Rob was able to do that for us and for that we are grateful.
