Buona Sera - Smithtown

I have been enjoying Buona Sera for a decade and have always been pleased with their food. Their pizza, calzones, and heroes are all delicious and fresh. Dining in is also a pleasant experience, as the staff is friendly and provides fast service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to give them a try!

Extremely rude! the kerl at the pizza counter stared at my man. after our order he put the pizzas in the many for less than 2 minutes, fetched them out and immediately in the box, then threw the box on the counter and left. we were the only person at the time, so we knew it was our job. but with such a terrible and rude attitude I must write this critique to complain. it should be better people for this job. this pizzeria was so beautiful and welcoming. I don't understand when it's been. very sad!

Placed an order for catering and was told the prices are more than the menu prices. Ok no problem got a quote and was told they'd call back on Wednesday for payment. No call so called today Thursday we called and the guy tells us it's gonna be 60 more than orig quote and was super nasty about it. So we canceled the order and he started to become excited so we disengaged the call. Terrible way to do business.Took my business elsewhere and was treated excellent, got a total extra tray of food for 60 less.Three hundred plus dollar order.

Ordered from them twice, both times orders were made wrong. One time a salad with no nuts bc of an allergy when I called they said they didn’t have anyone to deliver the right order and did I still want it…my dinner?? Second time no special instructions and they still messed up their own menu items. It’s unfortunate but I’d never order from them again what a hassle and waste of money.

I ordered the shrimp sampler, and it cost $25. For that price, I received only seven small shrimp, which is simply outrageous. I would strongly advise against dining here. The manager justified the price by mentioning that shrimp costs $14 per pound, which I find hard to accept. Additionally, we ordered seven meatballs, but only received three, and they were quite disappointing. There are several better options nearby, such as Mannino's, La Famiglia, and Ragazzi, all of which are far superior.
