Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival

Awesome place to be. It's fun, interactive and all around good time. Food vendors only take cash. They do have an ATM on site. Things are kinda pricey. The only downfall is there is not enough shaded seating areas for the picnic tables. Only a few canopies and trees cover some tables the rest are in the sun and it was 91° when we went. I would love to see some more canopies or pavilions added along with some picnic tables. Can't wait to go back.

A perfect way to spend a late summer/early fall weekend! We went today for the opening weekend and it could not have been more perfect. The attention to detail that's put into this event is impressive, and there is so much to do that you could spend an entire day there. The shows are really entertaining, especially the wench show! There's a lot of vendors to choose from as well, and a flower crown is a must have for your fairy/princess outfit! The people who work at the festival are very kind and engaging and they make it such a fun experience! I enjoyed all the games and even tried my hand at archery which was a highlight of the day. The games are very affordable- I think I paid like 5 bucks for 7 arrows at the archery station which I thought was fair. Will be back for another date this fall!

We had such a great time! Parking is very organized and clean. I recommended getting there when it opens. The crowds of people started getting there after noon time. Loved how everything was set up. It looked amazing like you really went back in time!!

The woman villain jouster needs a new job and hopefully not around kids. We just wanted to see the horses before we left and other families were there looking too. The jousters were practicing and two of them were being great adding in extra funny commentary for the kids. Well the lady jouster starts swearing at them and embarrassing them in front of everyone, then decides to yell at the crowd of families. It left a terrible taste in our mouths. To the lady villain jouster seriously get a new job because you stink. If you didn’t want anyone watching maybe move behind the stable or just stop until people disperse. No one was going to remember your trash performance anyways. As we said before we left bbbbboooooooo!
