Papa Johns Pizza - Smithfield

Ordered delivery on a Saturday night. That was some of the best pizza I've ever had from a major chain. I don't usually order delivery because I feel the food isn't as hot or fresh, but this pizza was so good, they must have left the store right when my pizza came out of the oven. This was the first time I've had Papa John's in several years, and I already want to go back. Service: Delivery

I walked in to place an order and needed a moment to review the options. Unfortunately, the person who took my order didn’t greet me and seemed impatient because I didn’t have a specific pizza in mind. He informed me there would be a 30-minute wait. The air conditioning was nonexistent, making the environment uncomfortable. The overall appearance of the location could use a fresh coat of paint. I noticed that there were electrical outlets above the counter that would have looked better if covered with a poster or picture, as the place just seemed unkempt. The counters were dusty, which was surprising since I’ve visited before and it didn’t look this disheveled. Interestingly, another employee warmly greeted three additional guests as they entered. Perhaps the person who served me was just having a rough day.
