The front area includes a mini mart selling Dutch food and souvenirs, though it can be a bit pricey and some items may be past their expiry date. The cafe in the middle is cozy and the staff in both the mini mart and cafe are always pleasant. The food is consistently delicious and reminiscent of home. In the back, there is a large section selling Dutch-themed items such as furniture, clogs, football memorabilia, T-shirts, and clothing for all ages, as well as music, books, and crockery. Overall, it's always a delightful experience visiting this place.
The restaurant serves delicious Dutch cuisine and offers a variety of Dutch products and clothing. They have a fantastic selection of imported Dutch items. If you are of Dutch heritage, I highly recommend visiting this place - you will not be disappointed.
This charming small warehouse store offers some unique items. I arrived late and found a limited selection of freezer items, with the frikandellen being satisfactory but somewhat bland sausages. They were of decent quality and not expired. The staff were mostly in the cafe but were friendly.
If you are desperate to buy Dutch groceries and knick knacks, this shop has a bit of everything. However, many of the grocery items are out of date and expensive. Avoid the Cafe. The food is deep fried from frozen and we found that like the groceries, it can be stale and probably out of date. In our experience, the lady who 'serves ' lacks customer service skills and can be extremely rude.
No room for social distancing. Very crammed but quite fun. Food simple, not real meals apart from the rather tasty Dutch pea soup with smoked sausage which wasn’t available unfortunately when we visited last time. Service not very professional but kind enough. Room for staff to prepare food minimal. We go to the Dutch shop to buy groceries for Christmas and Easter, not especially to eat. Presentation of food not very professional either. But if you’re willing to accept the flaws you can have quite a pleasant time in this cosy vintage Dutch cafe.
