Contribuiți la feedbackCame to Slough from Devon found this gem of a pub. From the second we walked through the doors Tom (landlord) was welcoming, hilariously funny and generous. We will definitely make an effort to come to the pub again this year and hopefully have a chance to listen to the Irish music Tom has arranged.
Had a fantastic night out here. Really great traditional local pub. Great warm feeling inside. Landlord is a class act
Went there recently when i was in Slough for the day to see football. Looked this place up for a decent pub that isnt gimmicky, and does what it says on the tin. Had some lovely bottled beers at sensible prices and the landlord Tom is a great guy who made and gave me a delicious stew whilst i was there. Great pub with nice freindly locals, will be back again.
Visited here whilst on business, and not knowing the area, found this through good reviews. Nice few pints of IPA, and a G&T...free nicely seasoned chips given to us, as the full menu was not on at the time. We sat outside in the covered garden with water features etc., nice ambience! Landlord friendly.
With the beautiful weather this weekend we saw this place had an outside area so with our 1yr old and 14yr old decided to try it and as others have said what a cracking hidden gem it is! Tom the landlord was so accommodating with us having a baby (which always makes things easier) and brought out sweets for the oldest and some sausage and chips. It really made our night our pint to wash it down was a lovely one! After sightseeing all day on the Saturday we were really gutted we didn’t have the time to pop in again that night. If we are back in Slough again we will be heading straight here for some lovely hospitality with a great atmosphere. Thank you all!
