Monihar Tandoori - Slough

Another delicious meal tonight. No one does it quite like Monihar. Top drawer. Everytime someone asks me for the best takeaway curry I do not hesitate to recommend Monihar.

A massive family of 13 and spent over £100, missed out a curry and said we didn’t order, when I have it written down infront of me! Didn’t supply any poppadums when spent over that much money! Absolute shambles of a restaurant! I wouldn’t recommend at all

Used to live in Burnham and now live in Windsor and other than our lovely local, Binoy, we only ever order from here. The portions are double most places, spice is lush and it's just amazing! Don't read negative reviews, order and judge for yourself! Even after 12 years away from Burnham we still go back to what we know!

Absolutely awful food and no customer service skills. I ordered food from here which took about an hour and half to arrive. When it did arrive as soon as we opened the dhal we were hit by a funny smell. We thought it may be the masala 's used so we decided to dish up. The food was doused in sugar, thats all we could taste, literally no spices until we came to the dhal, thats when we were hit with awful off date food. I called the restaurant and advised them of this, also informing them I was pregnant and was greeted by the most arrogant man who refused to believe me. He was adamant all food was made in the morning and therefore it could not be off. My husband then spoke to him and advised the same, he argued with my husband saying 'why is it always the Indians who complain '. My husband advised he would drive down with the food so he could check it himself. As this conversation and the food itself had put a sour taste in out mouth I advised my husband to pack all the food to return and get our money back. When my husband arrived at the shop he was greeted by the most arrogant, rude owner who said he would not taste the food or smell it and was adamant it was not off date. He then took all the food we ordered and gave my husband a refund for the dhal and refused to hand over the rest of the money and also decided to keep the food. His words were 'I am the boss I can do whatever I want '! His kitchen staff who 's hands were filthy and looked like they had not been washed also decided to join in and started threatening my husband! An absolute joke of a restaurant if thats what you can all it!!

Great value, big portions and incredibly tasty. Delivery is always fast with really friendly drivers.
