Favorite Chicken - Slough

Im writing on here after receiving a number of dodgy vegetable burgers. They clearly aren’t listing or don’t care so I thought I’d spread the message. A number of times I have ordered the vegi burger and it’s saturated with oil like the burger has been refried. I’ve taken back my burger on many occasions but today I came home to the pictures attached. My husband picked up our order. The burger is refried and soaking in oil and crisp dry. Every time I complain they assure me it’s not refried and replace it. I cook on a regular basis and mature enough to know when somethings been refried. Never had a bad burger when it was run by the Moroccan family. This lot are nasty. Do not buy from this place, walk across the road to Boss Burger!

Ordered a takeaway on Thursday 29th April and paid on line via card payment of £24.95 where I was told that the transaction didn’t go through so I didn’t get my food after looking in my bank statement is can confirm Favourite chicken Clacton on sea have taken my money abs when calling them regarding this was told I am just a cook and there is no manager I have since called the head office and still nit had my money back ....THIEVES I will never go there again or recommend to anyone

The food was okish I get a lot better service when I actually go instore and the quality is much better instore however I made a Uber eats delivery and the food was really cold and half the food was missing so they sent the chips but not the burgers which is the main item , I rang the Uber eats driver he was certain that he did not tamper with the delivery and it was favourite chickens fault so then I rang favourites and they were really rude and blunt saying they did put the burgers in when they didn’t and they blamed it all on the driver and said there’s nothing they can do and that they won’t compensate me for my food , so basically we have uneducated people with extremely little customer service working there and very rude also did not want to send me more food or give a refund they blatantly turned around and said they’re not doing anything about it so they just like to rob people

Since this takeaway has been taken over it’s gone downhill. I questioned the man why he wasn’t wearing gloves having handling money plus touching food afterwards all I got was a shrug.. During this pandemic I thought staff would be extra cautious. Placed an order got given regular size instead of large, cheese and dips missing. Last time I would order from here. If you want good good and good customer service use dixi chicken. I couldn’t even be bothered to go back and face the miserable staff member

This was once the best fried chicken place in Slough but standards have dropped since the new ownership. On my last early lunch visit the chicken looked drier and darker than usual. Once I got home with my take away and started to eat it, I realised it was refried chicken probably left overs from the night before! Threw it in the bin and the horrible after taste took a while to go. Poor show.
