What a great wee! Super friendly historic pub with a large traditional Irish atmosphere. Get a pint have some lunch and sit around one of the fires... yes choose one of three in doors in the massive under covered seating area.

Very nice pub! we went to eat. the personal is very friendly and ensures that they are satisfied with what they serve them. the food was tasty and it was served quite generous portions. it is very busy and loud during the evening, so should once know that in advance. we liked this atmosphere so it was no problem at all!

Fabulous camping/glamping place with something for everyone. Beirnes Kneipe next to it has great food and drinks and plenty of space both inside and outside. The playground on site is an additional one and keeps the children well entertained!!

Fantastic pub with great atmosphere of campers, workers locals alike! we glamping for a hot weekend the huts were absolutely beautiful, spacious, cozy beds with everything they could need (also a microwave, water cooker toaster! the lookout to the flow were stunning, warm showers, clean toilets the staff in the pub so nice helpful, everyone was really nice! and the eating delicious both nights: it is an absolute jewel of an place I will definitely go back soon. all the chickens said how much they enjoyed it, the braut loved their mini festival weekend. many thanks for everything we had a great time I won 't be surprised if more of us try to book our hot weekend there too:

11 of us dined at Beirnes of Battlebridge last night and it was simply wonderful. The ambience in that little pub is priceless. The food and service was amazing. I had the spinach and falafel burger, it did not disappoint two burgers, chunky chips and salad, brioche bun, home made coleslaw delicious. Others in the group had the special, lamb shank, falling off the bone,. Their cod and chips was also a big hit. With deserts to die for, and plenty of craic at the bar, this little gem should be on your to do list. You can also camp/glamp there or arrive on your boat!
