Waffle House - Slidell

That was one of my best experiences in a waffle house... ever!!! not only was everyone friendly, but the coffee was hot and fresh, my waffles were fluffy and the food came out quickly. Cassie did a great job to make sure that I had what I needed and one of the chefs even checked for me when he passed to make sure everything was to my wishes. The other remarkable quality of this particular restaurant was teamwork. They all ensured that the entire restaurant was maintained, orders were right (three-way communication) and only a really good chemistry among the five members I saw this great team. A lady especially cared for a veteran who came in and had some difficulty talking. She was so kind and patient and made sure that he got exactly what he wanted for breakfast. Keep the big work I'm doing when I'm in town.

Always good food and a fun time at Waffle House. The service is fast and every server I know is so beautiful and funny, we could be friends.

Waffle House is amazing, especially if you just don't want to cook and have a late night craving. It is delicious and friendly atmosphere and very fast service they will put you in and out before you can sit down

Food was very well prepared and seasoned. He's got to the chef and waits for the staff.

I used to hate waffle house because it was always a tiny little box, filled with smoke, looked greasy and always had drunks in it. Well there's still drunks in there but not this one. It was clean and the staff was awesome. Service and food was great. So if you've seen my reviews I obviously hated waffle house, and I loved IHOP at one point. Now it's the complete opposite. I hate IHOP and love waffle house. Disclaimer *it hasn't happened at this location but it definitely something to be careful of is the wild crowds that frequent waffle houses, if you recall some shooting incidents and various fights throughout their fanchises. Ultimately my visit here was great, my daughter and I enjoyed a great daddy-daughter breakfast.
