Sawridge Travel Center Cafe

Had lunch at Sawridge truck stop. The Chinese cuisine was delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere was typical of a truck stop, but clean and the staff were friendly.

Amazing butter chicken. The waiter told me it was the best in Alberta. He wasn’t wrong. I’ve been craving Indian food and had no idea I could get it in Slave Lake. I would recommend this in a heartbeat! I really enjoyed every bite! For anyone who likes liver and onions/bacon .... it’s very good here as well. The service is top notch. And if you are lucky you might get to hear some singing.

We always come here for breakfast! Our server today seemed to have forgotten about us, but Gina came to the rescue and provided us with amazing service!! We will definitely request to be seated in her section next time, highly recommended! The food is always fantastic too!
