Conyngham Arms - Slane

We were a group of 40 people booked in for dinner last Saturday afternoon. We were really well looked after. We had soup to start and it was beautiful. Then we had a choice of beef or roast chicken. I had the chicken and Jim had the beef. It was absolutely fabulous with lovely mash potatoes and roast potatoes and as much mixed vegetables as you could eat. I would highly recommend here for dinner Will definitely be back Patricia Harding

I went for food here with my friends. The food was delicious and our waitress was great. Would definitely recommend.

We were fortunate that our B&B hostess had reserved dinner for us on a Sunday night. There were many who walked in after we did who were turned away for dinner. There was no serving after 7:00 pm. We were given a seat near an open door, as it was unusually hot weather, in an alcove, with just a table for two. It was perfect for a peaceful, quiet dinner. The waiter was very attentive, and our dinner was excellent. Keep in mind that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday nights.

Not recommend, the food it wasn't good at all, small portions, prawns cocktail served in a water glass full with salad and just a few prawns on top. The service bad as well, we will not come back for sure.

We came for an afternoon drink and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Friendly staff who helped us get a taxi out of Slane, and let us leave our bags in reception. Menu looked great
