There are many good courses on the menu, both meat and fish. This time we chose monkfish, a very good choice. The service from the owner Trond and his staff was impeccable as always.
We popped by for a dinner lovely afternoon with sun in a cozy backyard. Waitress was very kind but all alone...With six tables to serve, this was to much for her. My monkfish that was ready from the kitchen at least three minutes earlier came together with the starter, and the white wine bottle came without a cooler as asked for from the beginning. That being said, the food tasted great, and the waitress excused and told us things would be delayed, so this is a management challenge to put enough resources in peak hours during summer season.
Friendly Service Neighborhood Restaurant. We arrived for a Sunday dinner. Greeted by friendly staff. We enjoyed the Veal filet with potatoes, mushrooms and carrots. Veal was super tender (medium) although it could have had a little more seasoning. Creme Brûlée Catalan style was excellent as was the raspberry sorbet. Coffee was coffee, could have served milk/cream in a small pouring cup instead of packets and the ketchup could have come in a small dish instead of packets from the factory. All in all 250kr for a 2 course sunday dinner was well worth it.
Food is good. Staff is attentive. With this location it should be set absolutely right for tourists to Skudeneshavn. Atmospheres is authentic and the pianobar provides a full service operations.
I decided to have dinner in my visit to Karmoy and it is really a nice place to try typical Norwegian food. I had a big soup that was delicious, and the treatment was very good. There were a lot of options to choose in the menu. The best place in town
