The food was acceptable, but not great. We had a cucumber, tomato, cheese salad which was good and pork schnitzel which was not breaded and was rather tough accompanied by some limp french fries. The bill was $10 for sparkling water, salad, schnitzel two people, plus a beer and a rakija, so it seemed reasonable enough to us foreigners.
Nice decore and my waiter spoke English. Thank goodness because they only had a Macedonian menu. My vegetarian risotto was poorly done and vegetables tasted like freezer burn. Good price on wine. I was SHOCKED that it's cash only (which was not mentioned prior to ordering). What a poor choice for a restaurant!
My waiter was nice and communicated well and checked on us regularly to make sure the food was to our liking and our drinks were filled. His English was very good and he was patient with my friend and I (each different foreigners). The food was very very good, I'll post pics of what because I can't read the menu but I ordered the watier's personal favorite but it was the most tender pork ever with mushroom sauce and the second was a traditional dish.. had white meat pork with mushroom sauce in a pastry that when you are everything together it tasted creamy and cut through the salty (but not overly) sauce. I'll come back for breakfast.
As it seems to be the new standard around here, smoking inside is allowed. It’s not as smokey as I expected, but some areas are worse than others. Food was ok, nothing too crazy. Parking is difficult to say the least.
