Uncle Julio's Skokie

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, we chose to dine out on the second-to-last night before restaurants had to close. The staff seemed aware that they might be out of work for two weeks or more, but that didn’t stop our waitress from being exceptionally sweet and attentive. When one of our dishes was incorrect, she promptly addressed the issue. We all enjoyed our meals, and the chocolate piñata was a fantastic touch that made our birthday celebration a hit. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

I had a wonderful experience during my visit! Matthew was an exceptional waiter—very pleasant and thorough in answering all our questions about the menu. He frequently returned to check if we needed anything. Honestly, he's the best waiter I've ever had in any restaurant. I will definitely be coming back!

It was our first time at Uncle Julio and everything was excellent from the drinks to the food. Service was very good. Can't wait to go back
