Shake Shack Old Orchard - Skokie

First time visitor. Service was kind of slow, despite having several workers; but i did appreciate the level of customer service! Note to self...shroom burger is not a patty! If you have a kiddos, note the birthday shake can be a choking hazard due to the small crunch pieces. Burger was good...fries were okay...i probably would try again.

Shroom Burger was very good. Crunchy outside texture, a large mushroom head with melted muenster cheese oozing out with each bite from the patty. The Shack sauce is also good, but basically another form of mayo. The buns are nice and sweet, but getting avocado added for an extra $1.25 wasn't very worth it as it only had 2 slices. -1 star for the value $10 for a small burger with avocado) but it was enjoyable.

We stopped by here today to have some dinner since we always see how packed this restaurant is. There was a slight misunderstanding with our order but thanks to amazing manager of this location everything has resolved quickly and efficiently. It’s indeed mind blowingly delicious, shakes aren’t that super sweet and heavy comparing for instance the Culver’s ones. We will be coming back to eat their yummy burgers for sure, so far one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten.

Pricey but delicious. Great staff! My friend ordered the mushroom burger and it wasn’t what she thought it was when she took a bite. They replaced it free of charge and even came to the table to make sure she was happy with the replacement burger. Highly recommended!

Stack Shake Burger is Great. It's a combo Cheeseburger and Mushroom Burger (portobello stuffed with two cheeses and breaded and fried)stacked on top of each other. The Bacon Cheeses fries were good too
