Shake Shack Old Orchard - Skokie

Janelle greeted everyone warmly, was quick to tidy up, and carried out all her tasks with a smile. I would have no hesitation in hiring someone like her for my own restaurant. At the end of our meal, we felt compelled to compliment her on her outstanding service. She was genuinely touched by our kind words and shared that she aims to bring a little positivity to the world—something we wholeheartedly agreed she accomplished. We also mentioned to Janelle that one of the supervisors seemed somewhat distant. I understand he might have been busy, but it would have been nice to see him acknowledge the guests more, especially nowadays when finding pleasant and hardworking staff is a challenge. Please extend our congratulations to Janelle for her extraordinary work!

I haven't had a good Burger sandwich so long. We ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, pommes and cookies cream shake. Everything was fresh and tasteful AMAZING. Are you sure you don't?

First visitor. Service was somehow slow, despite several workers; but I appreciate the level of customer service! Note to Self...Shroom Burger is not a Patty! If you have a childdos, note that the birthday shaker can be an ugly danger due to the small crumbs. Burger was good...Fries were okay... I would probably try again.

I visited the Shakeshack at Old Orchard today to order a takeout hamburger. When I arrived, the cashier seemed rushed, and shortly after, a male employee from the kitchen took my order without any warmth or sincerity. It was only me and my daughter there, and the place wasn’t busy at all, yet I waited 20 minutes for my food. I was standing right in front of him, but he didn't even acknowledge me. When I got home and checked the food, I found uncooked patties and spoiled salads—it was inedible. With the ongoing seriousness of the Covid-19 situation, I expected better. I was disappointed in Shakeshack, especially because they claim to prioritize environmental protection, yet they delivered such a poor experience.

I understand that shake shack is a famous burger chain and in fact, the meat quality on their shake stack is quite superb, but charging a whopping $10 especially when it is small and does not include french fries is a total rip-off. otherwise, there is nice outdoor seating and the hosts are super nice.
