Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream - Skokie

The ice cream at this restaurant is delicious, and the owners are very kind. I always find my favorite flavor here.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant on a hot day! I treated my son to the birthday cake for his special day, and I tried the passion fruit Italian ice. Both desserts were absolutely delicious and disappeared in no time. We will definitely be returning, especially since we live close by.

The owners are extremely friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Although they did not have the waffle chip or fudge flavors listed on their website, the ice cream was delicious.

As a first-time customer, I ordered a single scoop of butter pecan ice cream in a waffle cone for $7.85, which I felt was too expensive for the portion size. The scoop was extremely small, so much so that I needed a magnifying glass to see it. The texture of the ice cream was lacking and it tasted similar to the kind you would find at a grocery store. Overall, I do not recommend this place due to the high prices and small portions.
