Brown's Chicken Pasta - Skokie

I've visited this restaurant several times, and I've consistently found the staff to be friendly and efficient, all while maintaining high quality. There was only one occasion when I had to wait a little, but I prefer that if it means getting a fresh meal. I really enjoy the chicken and sides, and the store is always clean and well-kept. Great job to the Skokie location! Honestly, I do prefer the chicken at Popeye's, but the staff there are usually unfriendly, and the restaurants can be dirty. I’ll continue to choose Brown's.

This Brown's location is fantastic; they never fail to impress and maintain a consistently high standard. The food is always fresh, the staff are friendly, and there's ample seating and parking available. It’s a far cry from the unimpressive spot that used to be at Lawrence and Central. The food at this Skokie location tastes just as delicious as it did back in the '80s when I was growing up. I always order the fried mushrooms—they're incredible and deserve to be a standout item on the menu!

On the eighth day, God created the 8-piece dark chicken from Browns for just $10. Amen.

Many of the negative reviews from a year ago were written during the pandemic, but I believe it's important to provide a fair evaluation. The food here is excellent and incredibly tasty. The staff has demonstrated remarkable dedication, working through everything without any complaints. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, which is wonderful, especially for travelers. Criticizing a restaurant's menu seems unwarranted. I particularly loved the pizza, but the chicken legs were definitely my favorite! Thank you for staying open and continuing to serve us.
