Contribuiți la feedbackIf I could give Parc Bistro a 10 I would. Within my top 10 restaurant experiences since I've been Yelping. We were taken by the lovely, warm, and welcoming entry room with a fire burning in the fireplace. We made a 5 pm reservation at a table for two; it was in the backroom by the pizza oven prep area. It is nice and quiet and warm sitting back there as the bar area can be on the louder side. Greg, our server, introduced himself and following a review of the food and drinks menu returned to entertain our questions and request for a wine taste. On this cold blustery night, we started with a bowl of Parc Onion Soup, Sweet onions, turkey stock, aged comté, grated raclette, and crunchy onions. WOW, WOW, WOW, what a fabulous taste profile and texture of the ingredients. Warmed our souls and was a great starting point for more food enjoyment to follow. This onion soup rated next to the best we've had to date at a French restaurant in Cold Spring NY many years ago... there it was the port wine that made the onion soup a hit. Next, we shared the grilled Spanish octopus (note, I have measured all other octopus dishes against that dish I had 8 years back in Mainz Germany at an Italian Restaurant and thought that to be the very best I've ever had, move over Mainz and make way for Skippack's Parc Bistro's octopus dish Roasted cashew hummus, merguez sausage, Gigantes beans, sun dried peppers, shaved fennel, roasted cashews, verjus, smoked olive oil... the flavor profile was heavenly and perfect for a blustry night. For our third tasting plate course we had the classic etouffee Cajun roux, the trinity, andouille sausage, blackened shrimp, and buttermilk biscuits. Another fantastic flavorful and warming comfort dish. The smoky flavor with the pepper and the red gravy/sauce was outstanding. I can still taste it.... drooling. BTW, that glass of wine, well, 3 glasses later (1 each and 1 we share) was the GLS Albarino. Be sure to see our food pictures because the plating is artwork for the soul. We will be back for sure. Bon Appetit
Been here 40 times easy. Live in Atlantic city. This chefs food is better than anything I have found where there is hundreds of Restaurants My favorite restaurant anywhere. Used to be fountain room at 4 seasons in Philadelphia. Not there anymore. I will be up soon to enjoy Dinner by myself. That's how much I love. Beautiful building. Interesting menu. However, do not order the Lobster Risotto. It is listed on the menu as Creamy Arborio rice, cold water tails . So I expected risotto with at least one, maybe even two lobster tails because, tails . After pulling out three, rubbery claws and only finding a few tiny bits of other lobster pieces, I motioned to the waiter to send it back. His excuse was that the dish was both tails and claws, disregarding the fact that the menu listed tails . $24 dollars for rice and chewy lobster claws. No thank you. Graciously they took away the dish and I ordered a salad with crab which was a bit weird but okay. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
