Great food and service! Never miss it when I'm in Pennsylvania

This restaurant has recently changed ownership and has been renamed Hong Kong Cafe, which is quite disappointing. We were big fans of Black Dog, but now it's just not the same. We ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp for takeout, and when we got home to eat, we found that we couldn't even chew the shrimp. The coating was thick and incredibly tough and chewy. We ended up having to remove the shrimp from the coating just to eat it. We're very disappointed and won't be returning.

The Black Dog is gone and has been replaced by Hong Kong Cafe, which isn't as impressive. The spare ribs were disappointing—each rib had hardly any meat on it. The lo mein wasn't up to standard either. I'm now searching for a new Chinese restaurant.

I am so disappointed that this place has changed ownership! My husband and I absolutely loved Black Dog! We ordered takeout the other night, and while my orange chicken was decent, it just wasn't the same as before. My husband always orders General Tso's chicken extra spicy, but this time it lacked both the heat and the flavorful kick we were used to. The fried rice was terrible—it looked more like plain white rice with just a hint of soy sauce, and the peas and carrots were all shriveled up and appeared undercooked. We also ordered the dumplings, which we usually enjoy, but even those tasted different. We're really upset and disappointed.
