We had dinner at the restaurant and we had high expectations. They were meet and far exceeded. The food was outstanding, interesting and mostly locally sourced. The knowledge about the food and wine provided by Anders and Janni made the evening even more special. Thank you! The breakfast was equally as good.

We were visiting some towns in the central and northern Denmark area, and this location seemed like a good place for us to stop for a couple of days. We stayed at the hotel, and that is how we were able to find this restaurant. It is a gem! They grow a lot of their own food and herbs and make many of their items from scratch (bread, juice, butter, etc). We had breakfast two mornings and we had dinner one evening. For dinner we ordered the several course meal where each plating was paired with fresh juice created at the restaurant. It was a fantastic meal and we would highly recommend this place to everyone!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant in the heart of the Lake District of Denmark. The food was off the charts delicious: really, the best we have had on our entire journey to Denmark. The chef has won numerous awards for her food. We especially enjoyed that many of the ingredients are locally sourced.

We where here for our wedding day. Very very very good. Absolutely recommend this place if you are out to find a small quaint place where service and knowledge about the food and drink is important.

My in laws, boyfriend and I dropped in for lunch. I had one of the best “stjerneskud” and desserts of my life. High quality food a pleasure for the eye as well as the mouth. I highly recommend this place (no need to stay at the hotel).
