Aavangs Fiskehus - Skagen

Walked down to Pakehuset for some refreshments, but the place was of course PACKED. So ended up here. Nothing special but inexpensive. So good place to observe very expensive yachts fighting for a berth while thinking life is not all about money.

The fresh fish we bought at Aavangs while in Skagen was fantastic! Fresh and tasty! It might be expensive, but fish is expensive everywhere in Denmark. We had lemon sole, common sole and Norway lobster all totally fresh and delicious! It is also a must to taste their smoked salmon and the gravlax with sweet mustard sauce, it’s some of the best that I ever tasted! Not to mention the smoked eel which you can’t get better anywhere! Please go to Aavangs for you fish shopping experience!! We also tried their fish chips for lunch (shared a portion), it was really good!

Delicious local fresh fish. they can not only buy fresh fish and seafood, but also ready for direct consumption. we thank them!

What a fantastic shop! fantastic fishing and friendly staff. prices are fair for quality.
