Auberge de la Cascade du Rouget

We sat down waiting to be asked what we would like to eat/drink. She saw us arrive but decided to leave us waiting (not an issue) when she did finally arrive, we asked if they are still doing food, she asked us to wait while she asked. She arrived back and said yes we are so we ordered, one of us is a smoker so we asked for an ash tray. If looks could kill then we would all be dead, ‘I DO NOT have this request often so I will HAVE to check in the most rude, condescending way possible. (Baring in mind on another table they were all smoking) (we were sat outside) she arrived with the drinks and again she may as well have thrown them over us!. Next she arrived with the cutlery, again she may as well thrown them at us or stabbed us with the knives!. We were all very polite and courteous to her but not once did she say thank you, or come across as nice at all!. The food itself was ok, nothing special but nothing to complain about!. Would we come back to be treated like dirt? Sure if we want to get dirty!. But we aren’t dirty people so no we won’t be back again!. On a plus side the view from the restaurant is stunning with a beautiful waterfall!. Just to add that there was no language barrier, we are french.

It was almost as though they had given up on summer by the end of August. Highly priced very poor choice of branded ice creams In summary would not count on service here

We ate here on our chalet night off and the food was out of this world! menus are all in French but just made it more interesting for us all trying to remember our school days learing French. the staff are very friendly too. A

A rustic wonderful restaurant whether visited in the winter large cozy fires or summer on the veranda.... Service is friendly and helpful.... Food is delicious.... Mouthwatering Savard home cooking...... Cannot wait to go back on February

Dropped there around 21pm. The ckichen was already closed, but the lady aver there was that nice, that she offered to cook us some scrambel egs and frits. She was very nice
