Osteria Del Mare Restaurat Lounge

Eravamo di passaggio e dato che in questo periodo qua sono tutti in ferie ci siamo adattati, trovando questo ristorantino a due metri dal mare. Beh, siamo stati fortunatissimi....pranzo veramente di livello notevole. Pesce fresco, qualità elevata e piatti non banali. Prezzi non bassi ma per come abbiamo mangiato (qualità e quantità soldi spesi bene. Soddisfatti alla grandissima!!!!

Good food in low season We were skeptical after reading the reviews on this restaurant. In end October most other restaurants were closed and we decided to try it. Were actually got positively surprised by both the food and the service! Their Spaghetti Vongole was among the best we had during our stay in the Syracuse area and service was good. With the restaurant only 25% full the staff had an easier job than during high season. Beautiful location directly on the beach.

Da vero è posto da evitare! Horrible food and arrogant service and owner. We ordered food salad(water melon), Involutini di pescespada and a glass of wine. The water melon was served in a plastic cup probably prepared the day before, the involutini have a very distant fish taste, most was bread and cheese! Real shame at the Mediterranean coast. Finally the owner told me the foreigners do not understand the Sicilian food! Avoid!

We stopped at this beach restaurant for lunch in the middle of a beach day. The setup is quite stunning as the restaurant is right on the beach and a table was beautifully setup in the sand for us. The food was generally good although quite pricey. Our teenage son who had ordered a 15€ hamburger was particularly disappointed with his meal as it was just a burger without a bun or any kind of vegetable. The service was extremely slow although we were out of season (maybe they get more staff in the summer? . Generally speaking we were not very impressed by the place and would not recommend it.

Volevamo fare un aperitivo sulla spiaggia, posto e temperatura fantastica, peccato per il servizio al tavolo, rude e irrispettoso, ma non solo con noi. C'è molto da fare per la formazione del personale se in periodi di bassa stagione sei già così stressato. Prezzo per persona: €1–10 Cibo: 1 Servizio: 1 Ambiente: 3
