Contribuiți la feedbackI came here six years ago and last week I was in syrakus and wanted to visit again. we have eaten here clamari fritti and two species of pasta: tagliatelle with ink, bottarga and pistacchio, and hard fish ravioli in a longhustini bisque/sauce. it was...super delicious! the waiter was very helpful to forget his name, but I post a photo of him that serves us the delicious lunch!
We enjoyed a cozy lunch, with oysters, pasta, garnel and fishing. the bad reviews seem unfair! a beautiful bottle of wine and fast and attentive service.
This restaurant was a wonderful sound and I am only very glad that I did not read the reviews first. we had there on Thursday after a wonderful morning to foot around ortigia at midday. we were met by the charming corridor, which brings us the ultra fresh fish of. the day showed, beat a delicious wine to accompany, and it was one of the cheaper wee. I had boiled sea roast with garlic. corridor filled it in the table. so beautifully executed that there was no bone on my teller. my man had filled a swordfish cube with pine nuts, basilikum and broth crumbs. it was the best fish I've ever eaten, fantastic from a charming man present. please try them before they believe the bad reviews
We decided to have dinner here based on the setting/location which is great! However, we didn't check the TA reviews beforehand big mistake! The food should have been great it certainly looked great. But the flavours just weren't there. I had the seafood...pasta and my wife had the penne al ragu. When we first saw the plates we were excited, but both of us were disappointed after trying. Overall, a disappointing meal, but we did really enjoy the setting, particularly the accordion player playing on the walkway just down from our table. I would certainly return to this area for dinner, but would first check TA for a place with great food to complement the setting.
Stopped here for lunch on a very hot day in June. Really attentive staff who didn't laugh at our Italian. We had fresh fish of the day from the ice cabinet and a great dry white Sicilian wine to wash it all down with. The...chef came out to say hello and we waddled off along the promenade feeling extremely contented.
