Sioux Falls Trivia

This hotel was pretty clean. But the hotel property is cramped and parking is tight. There were no computers at all in the business center. I guess these rooms are either new or renovated because they were the kind that just had hooks all over the place, and a sparse bathroom with a shower, no tub. Breakfast was average.

Off of the Interstate, close to shops and restaurants. Within walking distance to a lot of places. We can depend on Hampton Inn for good hot breakfasts and clean rooms. Microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms.

However, we found that our room featured a smaller bathroom than other Hampton Inns we've visited, which was a bit disappointing as there was less counter space around the sink. The cleanliness was up to standard, though. Additionally, we were let down by the breakfast buffet compared to our previous stay, which had a greater variety of healthier bread and bagel options. Another point to note is that we were only allowed two bottles of water during our three-day stay, whereas we've generally been provided with more at other locations, even upon request. As silver members, we were also disappointed to learn that late check-out was not an option, even though the standard check-out time is noon. On a more positive note, I appreciate the digital (contactless) check-in and check-out process, which allows you to select your room in advance. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.

We enjoyed having access to the pool around the clock, as it was great for both relaxation and a bit of late-night exercise. The breakfast prices were standard, but for some reason, the eggs were quite dry. The staff maintained a clean room and was always friendly, often smiling. The hotel is situated in a nice, quiet area—not in the downtown hustle, but still convenient for coming and going.

However, I wouldn't recommend staying in room 100, as it's located right next to an exterior door that the cleaning team frequently uses, and they seem indifferent to the comfort of other guests. A sign could have made a difference. That said, the location is great, the room is comfortable, and the breakfast is enjoyable.
