Soho Kitchen - Sioux City

The service at this restaurant is good, and I appreciate the ambiance and cleanliness, but the food leaves much to be desired. The menu seems disjointed and lacks standout dishes. It feels comparable to something you might find at Applebee's or another chain restaurant. During our last visit, the food was acceptable, but nothing special—definitely not worth raving about. My fries seemed older than they should be, resembling those that had been sitting under a heat lamp since their earlier trip to McDonald's. They were cold and unappetizing by the time they arrived. We also tried the burnt ends nachos as an appetizer; while they were decent, they reminded me of something I might buy at a sports game concession stand. Overall, I'm not impressed with the food. While I like the atmosphere of the restaurant, I think it needs to improve its menu. We probably won’t be returning.

We ordered two appetizers, expecting them to be small, but they were absolutely massive! The nachos alone could have been a full meal, and they were fantastic! We also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were simply amazing. My mom and I still attempt to recreate them at home, but we've never quite managed to get it right. The service was excellent! My dad, who is quite particular about steak, can't stop raving about how good it was at SoHo. Unfortunately, I live eight hours away, but I'm seriously considering making the trip for my birthday dinner! The combination of great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere at such a reasonable price is hard to beat. I would 100% recommend it!

We visited this charming restaurant on Historic Fourth Street in Sioux City, and the character of the old building really added to the experience. Having been there before with positive experiences, we were eager to return. The menu has a fantastic selection that caters to various tastes, and we appreciated their lunch specials. My mom ordered the hot beef dinner, which came with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with a side salad. The portion sizes were generous, and the meal was delicious. I opted for the grilled chicken and bacon salad, which was also quite large and filled with crispy bacon, fresh vegetables, cheese, and well-prepared grilled chicken. Everything was visually appealing, and we received great service. I look forward to trying more dishes on our next visit!

I was in town visiting my brother in hospital, went to Soho for lunch, the menu said half pound burgers, so I kinda expected a plump burger, fat in the middle, a little pink, and juicy. It was anything but, flat and dry, reminded me of a hockey puck, itwas clearly a frozen patty that was prepared earlier with a bunch of other ones, then put in a steamer pan for quick serving. I gave 3 stars because the server was very good.

The restaurant was quite dim for 11 AM, and they didn’t specify which items on the menu were spicy. The service was just okay.
