Pickerman's Soup Sandwich - Sioux City

This is a family run sub shop that serves Sandwiches and Soups. They do a great job. The staff is always friendly and congenial. The soups are delicious! The sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced. The bread was fresh and tasty! The meats flavorful! Comes with a crispy crunchy pickle spear. What a sub shop should be!

Vito insists that every sandwich is crafted with care, and the consistency of the food ensures a wonderful lunch experience. The soups are fantastic, and there's always a spoon included in the bag, along with a friendly smile from the staff.

I've always wanted to try this restaurant, and I finally had the opportunity. As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed by the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread and friendly staff. The employees are really pleasant and easy to talk to. I highly recommend the chicken salad on a croissant; it was fantastic! Plus, the prices are very reasonable considering how filling the meals are, as they come with either soup or chips. I will definitely be back!

The sandwich bread was soft, and the toppings, such as lettuce and tomato, were fresh and crisp. However, the tea was quite weak— is that typical for Iowa?
