Le trait d'union - Sion

My second time there for lunch... but not the last. Always pleased with the food, the price and the nice people there. I love the athmosphere there... and desserts coffees are good too. Then, or before, you can enjoy the library, the newspapers, the magazines and the books free to read...

Had a fantastic lunchtime meal of braised beef, mashed potato and buttered carrots sounds simple and yes it was, but it was the lunchtime menu and the braised beef was absolutely heavenly. I often come here for a coffee and cake if I am visiting the library (médiathèque) the also have fantastic cakes, especially the carrot cake and chocolate tart and the only place I have found in Sion where they serve maple and pecan plaits. The restaurant is situated inside the library, which is better than any municipal library I have been to in the UK, with a fantastic children's library at the back. The perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon with the kids.

We ate well, the frame is really nice and unusual. Smiling and fast service. a bientôt :)

Excellent dish of the day followed by a delicious strawberry pie! the frame is very pleasant - to recommend!

The restaurant (for social purposes and assistance in insertion) is located in the cantonal library, it is very nice and original. food is excellent, at reasonable prices. very nice service. Preferably book. to be recommended!
