Located near the Saolim Church, this restaurant is a hidden gem. Compared to other dining establishments in Siolim, it stands out as a top choice. The bar is beautifully designed on a peaceful street, and the food is delicious. Tina, the owner, is not only stunning but also very welcoming.
The Hangout offers a rich comfort food without beans, but good portions and fresh ingredients. It is operated by a classic motorcycle enthusiast and the place itself is a novel of the old classic world of motorcycles among other memories. It was refreshing to see... the passion of a person immortalized in a place where people relax, eat, drink, and the time left. Overall, The Hangout is the perfect Goan rustic hiding place on a relatively quiet street. If you like the old world charm and a taste of sleepy Goa, then I recommend this place. The Goan dishes are great, but some of the continental materials are also brilliant. Try also the shrimps a must! And also the windshield wiper Tikka. The owner is a wonderful gentleman who, if you have a conversation, will tell you stories about how he is in Goa and the idea behind the concept. A real jewel to earth and yet very unforgettable.
My wife and I found this restaurant five years ago and when we returned, it was just as good as we remembered. It is a charming place on the street. I had a delicious fish thali, beer, dessert, and coffee, all for Rs 500.
The Hangout is a charming restaurant located on the road from Siolim to Chapora. It is conveniently situated for those traveling to the northern beaches and offers a relaxed atmosphere with delicious comfort food and a variety of drinks. The prices are reasonable, and it reminds me of the Goa I remember before the influx of expensive, overrated establishments. The owners are friendly and hands-on, and be sure to say hello to Brownie, the photogenic resident dog.
