Sintra Antiga

The food was very good, the sea food was great – the fish and shrimps. The staek was good and th shrimp pasta was good. The only thing was the veal wasn't good – it was a litle bit under cooked, so it was chewy gum like, so we asked to give it back for extra cooking and then it was o.k. The Nata (common Portugal cookie) was good but a little bit expensive. The place is a beautiful house – very fit for a romantic meal, but the staff didn't speak almost any English – so we communicated with some Spanish and pictures on the cellphone. Not too expansive but not too low on the budget.

Hopefully I have picked the town of Sintra for this review. We drove in and found parking very easily. The whole town exudes class, beautiful buildings , vast history, castles on every hill top, just to much to see. You can imagine the place years ago with horses and carriages. Allow lots of time and grab some lunch it's so well worth it.

Excellent food, very nice staff, beautiful place. Average prices. Highly recommended. I certainly go back again.
