Estrela Do Bico - Sintra

I went here for a Birthday celebration, the place was full and normally it is so, I would definitely recommend a booking. Their food is spectacular and they have a big varied menu, this is acceptable taking into account that they combine three different cuisines. Their staff was amazing and always went the extra mile to please the customers. Initially my steak was not rare enough for my liking and did not asked for another one but they promptly came with another perfectly rare steak for me, due to their kindness I needed to have two meals for the price of one. Their portions are the perfect size for a nice filling meal, if you are coming for lunch make sure you have a light breakfast, especially if you're going for African dishes like Moamba, or feijao de Oleo de Palma. The decoration is also very inspiring with a mix of art from the places were their food come from but it is the staff and the friendly owner that really make this place shine. The only negative thing it was the space, for their popularity and good food they need to have a bigger place. Remember to book on advance so you can be sure to get a table.

What a fabulous restaurant. I had Lunch there and the feijoada that I ordered was delightful. The house Red wine from Alentejo was a welcome surprise. I will be back again and cannot say enough about this wonderful Restaurant.

The food is great, spectacular flavors and very generous portions! Prices not too high not too low, perfect for the quality and quantity of the food. Loved it, recommend it, and will be coming back for sure! Absolutely amazing!
