To come to adega do saraiva is one of these programs that will never be old. great service, personally I recommend the codfish and the attack doce never dissapoints!
This restaurant is a bit of the beaten stretch in a small, quiet village and is a bit economical. the service is beautiful and familiar. the menu is somewhat limited, but offers enough choice. the lamb was tender and well cooked, so was the rabbit....The portions (also the small size) were generous. for dessert we also had homemade flaans that were good. the price was somewhat higher than other similar places, but still reasonable. all in all we had a good (but not unforgettable) meal.
Busy on a Saturday night in early June. Very friendly owner whonspoke good English and explained the menu. The roast meats are served in small, medium and large sizes, and the smallest is enough for two! The roast potatoes were lovely. The fish dishes were...not quite so good which is why i gave this four not five stars. Lots of local people eating out as families, so a lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere. Cash only, no cards. We spent euros for main course, pud and soft drinks amazing value for money.
From. Estoril its a min drive. The food is out of this world. Traditional Portuguese from the tomato and onion with olive oil to the cabrito all a must. Worth the trip and i will defenetely will be back.
