The ambience brings you back to the Middle Ages. The service is very friendly and the food is very delicious. Food is served very quickly, after ordering. The prices are cheap and the portions are large. I and my wife will eat more often
The food may be tasty for some and also the price performance. But I see that something different. > Cheese pancakes < It wasn't a cheese punk, so you should have a different name. This also had no taste, the cheese did not rip it out, as it also ran past the wort. The cooking ham seemed to have a longer storage in the refrigerator behind it. The Rösti was soft as a fat. The alleged salad was glass or cans quality. Our conclusion: we do not need it again, because if we go out, then it should also fit. Unfortunately, this hasn't been enough, but please, who likes it. Everyone decides.
Super flair. The restaurant has real style. Eating was as it should be. You're welcome.
Last night I was in the sense of Old Times (after 3 years), but for the last time. Whether the restaurant is actually clean, you can judge hard because it is really very dark inside. Unfortunately, in the past 15 years nothing has been modernized regarding the tables, chairs, benches or the like. When entering the place, a very pressing, standing air strikes. (There are no windows in the guest room) Unfortunately we were not allowed to choose a place tonight, even though we were the first guests (this has happened more often in the past). We were led to a separate area where 3 tables stand. My accompaniment ordered a hunter's pan: pork lard in a sauce, with roast potatoes and vegetables. I chose the carriage pan, a rag steak on golden brown fried onions, with frying potatoes. The really friendly service asked me how I would like the steak, I ordered medium. While we waited for our food, unfortunately, you could constantly hear the (presumably) managing director on the phone, as he spoke unfriendly with guests who wanted to book. And how he complained about various other things. After some time the food was served in cast iron pans. When I cut my Rumpsteak, it was still too raw/**** (medium rare). I asked the friendly service to take it back to the kitchen and apologised for the circumstances that I now prepared for the cook. The operation reacted super and after a few minutes she brought me the steak back. As I continued, I noticed the unsatisfied view of my accompaniment. Her hunting pan consisted of pieces of meat that were not recognizable at first glance. The 3 pieces of meat looked strongly fried and did not have the rounded shape of lumbers. She barely got the meat cut... The vegetables consisted exclusively of peas and carrots from the glass or can. On top of it a Klecks bag hollandaise... The roast potatoes were absolutely fine. I kept eating my rag steak, but it just didn't taste. I'm not a cook, but I like to eat meat and, above all, steak, and know what's possible in this respect tastefully. Of course, the service noticed that the hunter's pan did not arrive well with the lumbers, then my accompaniment also explained to her that the meat is barely cut, let alone chew. The operation was really embarrassing and offered that the cook could come to our table and that she would bring a new piece of lum that would be less fried. She was barely away from our table, we heard the managing director wondering: Now through? Um... well, I understand that complaints are annoying, but it was so damn obvious tonight that there was no cure for meat. The service came back and apologized that the cook just couldn't come, he was on the phone. She served a new piece of Lende, which was just as fried as the previous ones. The meat was incredibly tough and simply not edible. My companion said that she had never been served so much elsewhere and that it would be a shame for the meat. Then the service said that in the kitchen one would have said that this would be the case and would certainly be in the preparation in the cast iron pan. My accompaniment didn't like what I could understand anymore. She ordered something to drink and I had a drink after dinner that was excellent! Since the service was really very striving and it was also so sorry that some things went wrong at our meal, I assumed that they would come to us at a price or at least the liquor would go to the house (which would have been the minimum). Wrong thought! We paid €15.90 for the barely touched Jägerpfanne and €17.90 for my carriage pan and also the drinks. Actually, cook and/or managing directors would have had to be embarrassed that guests were so unhappy with the meat, but unfortunately no one could look at our table and there was still a feeling with a self-esteem not because you didn't just eat what came on the table.
