Contribuiți la feedbackI was very pleased with this family-run and very welcoming restaurant. They serve top-notch food, at very reasonable prices. Chef Ernesto was voted top chef in Italy recently. Maria Grazia is a lovely hostess, and the rest of the staff are friendly as well. Its layout is modern with a comfortable feel. It 's also very spacious. The setting is on a hill overlooking the beach in the distance, over a nice valley, and you can catch the sunset over the mountains. They have a terrace, and inside there are retractable glass walls. We started with a mixed seafood antipasto platter, which was composed of a wide variety of fresh offerings. It was to die for ! So many new a fresh flavours, quite the sampler of what was on offer. Of course it varies depending on what is available fresh from the sea that day. I had one of the best spaghetti vongole ever (real clams, including shells! and I was provided with a dried topping I could sprinkle on that added so much umami. Just a little went a long way. My dining companion had a grilled sea bass. After dinner we were provided with a delicious sweet taste of the local pompia fruit, an enormous citrus hybrid that seems to only grow in this area, and that is mainly inedible but whose pith is processed for three hours and results in a delicious dessert. Afterwards we were of course offered the ubiquitious mirto , which is a delicious digestif made from the local myrtle berry. By the way, the local flat bread, which I loved everywhere I went on this trip, was the best here. You could still taste the amazing smoky flavor from the oven , with a touch of sea salt.
