Contribuiți la feedbackI am a completely newcomer to this chai kue game and the delicacies is simply one that represents Singkawang food. Thin sprue skin wraps tasteful fillings with crispy fried garlic. Enjoy the provided free flow chili sauce, this is a wonderful treat and easily one of the best food moment during my 5 nights Singkawang stay. Sure, there are other places that serve Cai Kue, but this facility also offers a unique culinary experience. Bookings are preferred to ensure availability. Cai kue is served warm as it is steamed on your arrival. Many choices - kucai (chives), bengkuang (jicama), Rebung (Bamboo shoot) among the offered.
The most delicious Choipan/Cai-Kuwe I tasted. General folding of garlic adds to optimal crunch. My favorite is the bamboo shoot and Kucai Choipan. Jícama one is also a well-known favorite. Size is not very large, so make sure to order a lot. Chilli sauce has enough sweetness, sourness to it, far from the simple hot sauce. Namong drink is too salty for me. The place is not the most hygienic, very traditional and village-y, chickens hang freely around the tables. No signage at all and not exactly on the roadside, placed behind a small house. Enough area to park 6-10 cars.
That is tragic eating of singkawang. the high popularity .ho recomended.
Arguably the best chai kueh in town. Place may look a little run down and seating area cannot accommodate a lot.
One of the best Places for Chai Kue in singkawang Recommended, Remember to turn off the Fan when you Leave the area tho
