Hohentwiel - Singen (Hohentwiel)

Yesterday we celebrated our wedding day here for the third time and certainly not the last time. The staff is very friendly and friendly. The quality of food is simply mega and the portions are more than sufficient. Used by us 5 stars, but also because there are no 6 stars to forgive. We look forward to the next visit!

Very nice area for hiking, drinking coffee, eating. There are different hiking trails, including the volcano path.

I grew up in singing, but I haven't lived there for many years. My wife and I had long wished to visit the Hohentwiel. Up to approx. Halfway by car. By the way, parking is free. We then bought the cards for 4,50 € per nose and went up. Every 400 600 meters comes a bank to rest. Well half of the wooden benches was very marode. Then through two tunnels, and already one is on the forecourt, where I used to watch several concerts at the Hohentwiel Festival. There is also a small shop where there is coffee and cool drinks. Until there, by the way, without admission. The tickets previously bought at the parking lot are only needed from now on. A rotary gate then leads to the last one that is very steep. On the left and right are the first ruins that are also described by small signs. At the top it is very interesting. There's a tower you can go up to. In my opinion, the ruin itself is very well preserved and offers many interesting information. The view to Lake Constance over Singen is incredible. We spent a good 2 hours on the ruin and then went on coffee and cake to the restaurant at the parking lot on the terrace. All in all a very beautiful day, which was also very exhausting.

Breakfast is great with many different things. From fresh rolls and bread there are also various sausage and cheese dishes as well as fresh fruit. The view is great and the rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and takes care of the guests. Even the warm food is very tasty and plentiful. I highly recommend it.

We celebrated our wedding party in this restaurant and can only recommend it to everyone. The food was very delicious and the staff very friendly and welcoming. That's why you praise the staff and thank you for this venerable day! We'll be back!
