I had booked a brownie and they provided that. The food was very delectable as well. The starters I ordered included the vegetarian sizzler. I also ordered the naan basket which was so fluffy and soft. It included various breads such as garlic naan and butter naan. Finally, the palak kofta was amazing. It had a creamy texture and tasted amazing. I ordered the royal taj special mocktail. It was ombre. It faded from a dark blue to a lighter blue. It was topped with a maraschino cherry on top. It was sweet but also had a hint of sourness. Overall, a good place to visit for a birthday special.
Royal Taj as a restaurant is great and the food is definitely up to the mark, but I genuinely believe this place stands out for its customer service attention to detail. Moreover, its ambience is so wonderful, especially given the location in Sentosa and beautiful surroundings. Yesterday we had a small family celebration for my grandma’s 75th birthday and they thoughtfully placed a sign saying happy birthday at our table. They also kept the cake for us served it upon our request with no issues. I also held my wedding reception here last week and they closed the entire restaurant for us, even converting one wing of the place into a dance floor. The staff are ever courteous and polite, making for a very memorable celebration that we will look back on for years to come. Highly recommend this place if you ever want to host an Indian style reception, and you can also do a photoshoot against the backdrop of the beautiful surrounding areas of this place.
True to its name , whenever we go to Royal Taj we are treated royally with great service by the staff! The staff is friendly and provide you great recommendations. Their Kulfi and Palak chaat is outstanding. Great ambience and perfect for lunch/ dinners with family
Love this place honestly. If it weren't in Singapore, i would definitely come back again. But if I do come into sentosa, I would definitely visit them $96 for 2 pax, affordable I would say, for the location. We had the ala cart. The service is excellent 5/5 The papadam with the sauce. Amazing. One spicy green sauce and the other like a salted apricot jam sauce. Only not so good thing is that it is not very crispy but the flavour is great We had the rosemary malai kebab: creamy chicken kebab with yoghurt. So damn good! The salad on the side goes so well with the chicken. The palak kofta curry was the only dish that was a little disappointing because it wasn't flavourful enough and there were a bit too much potato. It was more of a potato dish than a cottage cheese dish. I guess it's because we were expecting more cheese like the paneer. The saag gosht is a stir fried lamb dish. The lamb is succulent, fatty and tender. Extremely good. The spinach gravy had ginger too! Goes so well. I loved it. My favourite dish tonight. The chilli garlic Naan was awesome too! And the dessert! Red dates with pistachio and almond! Naturally sweet. Super tasty.
Best Indian food in Singapore. Second visit and can’t wait for the next. Service is top notch and food is authentic. They cater to all special requests too. Thank you Kumar!
