For almost 20 years, this has remained my favorite place for food. I've been coming here since I was single, and it’s still my top choice even now that I’m married.

I visited this restaurant to try their Mie Rebus, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavor was fantastic and very authentic. My boyfriend ordered the Soto, which was decent but didn't quite blow us away. I definitely recommend trying the Mie Rebus. I’ll definitely return to sample their famous Tahu Goreng as well!

The tahu goreng featured exceptionally fresh and soft tofu, deep-fried to achieve just the right amount of crispiness on the outside. It was topped with sliced lettuce and blanched bean sprouts, all smothered in a delicious grated peanut sauce that had a bit of spice. The mee rebus came with a thick sauce that was well-cooked over perfectly blanched noodles; however, I found the sauce a bit too sweet for my taste. The lontong was delightful, made with fresh ingredients and served in a mildly rich gravy. It's been ages since I've finished a plate so quickly. As for the satay served at 9 AM—what a treat to find it in a hawker center! The marinated chicken skewers were grilled to a slight char, resulting in a tender and flavorful bite. The ketupat was moist and soft, a clear sign of freshly boiled rice made that very day. The stall operated with impressive efficiency, staffed by four ladies in a small space, with the boss managing orders for a long queue of customers. I was pleased to be served by the lady boss herself, who was extremely courteous and humble—a refreshing change in busy stalls, even those with Michelin recognition. She encouraged customers to take a seat and assured them that their orders would be delivered if they asked for dishes requiring extra time, like the satay. You just need to be seated nearby, or you can relax and wait for your order. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to this stall to try other popular dishes like satay, mee rebus, and lontong!
