I didn't find much difference, as I really enjoyed the broth—it was incredibly tasty. However, I was disappointed by the portion size; there weren't enough ingredients, even though I ordered the larger bowl for $13.90.
I've visited this restaurant a few times, and I really enjoy their Pho and noodle soups; they're quite tasty. They also offer vegetarian options, which is great. The sandwiches might be a bit dry for some people, but I found some of the snacks, like the banana fritters, to be enjoyable, although they can be a bit oily. Be sure to try the rice pudding—it's a must! And the drinks are absolutely divine!
On July 21, I returned for the pork Banh Mi, which was still delicious! On November 20, it was interesting that we both wanted to try the Banh Mi again, so we ordered one with pork and one with chicken. The pork was absolutely heavenly, while the chicken was nice as well, but not quite as good as the pork. I will definitely get the pork Banh Mi again!
I had lunch with my mom, and we were pleasantly surprised by how filling the meal was, even though we only ordered a small bowl. The soup was absolutely delicious, and the spring roll was fantastic too! The dessert was delightful, though it might be a touch too sweet for some people. However, the coffee was outstanding!
The food was decent, but the prices felt a bit high for what you receive, and the fresh coconut drinks were disappointing. We arrived just before the dinner rush, so there was no wait to get in. The table space was sufficient for our needs, although the seats weren't the most comfortable. You place your order using an online menu accessed via a QR code, and after paying, you'll receive an order number. You can pick up your food when your number lights up, but drinks are served separately. The beef pho was good, although they were a bit stingy with the ingredients. The soup had great flavor. I recommend trying the pomelo salad as well; it includes shrimp, some chicken, watercress, nuts, and other ingredients, but the portion was small for both the pho and the salad. The real disappointment came from the coconut drink, which seemed to have been stored for a while— the flesh was tough and inedible. Overall, the prices seemed high, especially for a mostly self-service establishment. If you're in the mood for decent pho, it's worth a visit, but if you're looking for fantastic pho, you might want to try another place.
