A newly opened air-conditioned food court operated by Great Wall, the food holdings company, has become a delightful spot for food lovers. The tze char stall offers delicious and fresh dishes at reasonable prices, with the popcorn chicken in salted egg sauce being a must-try. In addition to the tze char, there are various food stalls, typical of a regular food court. The sliced fish bee hoon is quite impressive, boasting a good bite and a flavorful broth. If you're a fan of dim sum, it's worth giving theirs a shot as it stands up well to what you'd find at a decent dim sum restaurant.

This restaurant is a great spot for any occasion. It features a POSB ATM, an AXS machine, and a newspaper vending machine, along with additional space available for special event reservations. Overall, the prices are reasonable, and the experience is enjoyable.

The kway chap here is quite good and reasonably priced. What surprised me is that the vendor seems to be from mainland China, yet the kway chap and pork rib soup taste authentically local.

The Zhi Char offers fast service and most dishes are tasty and delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. I tried the Pepper Beef Curry and fried rice on February 27, 2022. However, I had to ask for extra sambal chili again. I don’t understand why they are so sparing with the chili. The reason we choose these dishes is because their sambal is really good, so I hope they can be a bit more generous with it.

The restaurant has a spacious layout, but there aren’t many food options available, as many stores seem to be closed. The mixed vegetable rice was disappointing because it was overly oily, but the fish soup was excellent and had a nice wine flavor. Be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes for the fish soup.
