Marmaris is a hidden gem in Little India. The staff is very attentive and accommodating, and the food is lovely with the perfect amount of seasoning. Will definitely be back!
The payasam was delicious, but we were mainly there for the Karak tea, which is hard to find outside of Dubai. Unfortunately, it took a long time to be served and didn't taste anything like authentic Karak tea, lacking the traditional cardamom flavor.
I tried the falafel sandwich and paired it with a mango lassi at this restaurant. The total cost was just under $10. The service was friendly and efficient, especially since it was not very busy before dinner hours. The falafel and fillings were satisfactory, although I would have preferred if they didn't roll the wrap so thin and cut up the falafel before adding it. Overall, the taste and value were decent, except for the mango lassi which cost $4.50. In my opinion, it was quite small as shown in the photo. However, it did taste fresh with real mango pieces.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding! I tried the lamb shank biryani and it was delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and moist, falling off the bone. The dipping sauces they provided were also excellent, especially the garlic sauce. The restaurant is very clean and the service is fast. It is definitely one of my favorite spots in Little India.
