Mansaku Japanese Food - Singapore

A popular hawker centre in the heart of the city. To name a few famous stalls, Hainan hokkien mee, Da po chicken rice and curry noodles, 91 froed kuey tiao and of course keng heng lor mee.There are so many but these that mentioned are my favourites. A great hawker centre i certainly hoped the government will preserved. Nostalgic comfort food

CNY Eve dinner. I had the Roti John combo, Beef Steak Kuah, Nasi Pataya combo, and Mee Kuah. The gravy and sauce were delicious, as I expected from Deen, but the noodles in the mee kuah were slightly undercooked. The Roti John was smothered in cheese sauce and mayonnaise. While some may enjoy it that way, I prefer my Roti John to be a simpler version, like the original from Botanic Garden.

Lunch is typically very busy, even with the current social distancing measures. We particularly enjoyed the Keng Heng Whampoa Lor Mee and the Popiah Rojak. The muffins were good as well. We'll definitely return to explore the other hawker stalls at Golden Mile Food Centre.

This expansive hawker center spans two floors and offers a wide variety of cuisines, including typical Chinese and Malay dishes, as well as drink and dessert stalls. You can also find some unique options that aren't commonly seen in other hawker centers, such as mango pudding, peanut soup and balls, baguettes, and gourmet burgers. My personal favorite is definitely the Ah Boling peanut soup stall; the prices are great and the quality is consistently excellent. Don’t miss out on trying the mango pudding from the stall next door and exploring other offerings as well. If you're in the Bugis area, it's just a short walk along Beach Road.

This place offers some of the best hawker food you can find, including Lor Mee, Tulang Merah, No Lard Char Kway Teow, Wanton Mee, Chicken Rice, and Chilli Mee, as well as fusion options like Craft Burgers. The only downside is the limited parking availability.
