The oysters were fresh and plump but slightly too salty for my liking. The beef was really good and the restaurant portioned it out for us as 2 of us was sharing it. The clam chowder was slightly too thick but it tastes nice. Scallops were very well cooked and the coleslaw was crunchy and refreshing. Crab cakes were good too and I could taste the real crab meat in them. For sides, we got lobster mac& cheese and I liked that it came topped with biscuits which gave it an added crunch.
Luke’s is still my top choice for a good USDA prime steak. The black pepper crust goes so well as u put each slice of beef in your mouth. Wines are rather pricey though. And you’ll have to reservations well in advance. I hope they can make the place less noisy… maybe improve on the wall padding to absorb the sound from all the conversations in the restaurant. Highly recommended!
Still my go to favourite restaurant for a yummy crab cake and shrimp cocktail. Sadly, I didn't quite like the clams during this visit I remembered it to be less salty. Will probably focus my orders on the oysters, and my usual good ol' crab cake and shrimp cocktail in my next visit.
Looking back at the photos makes me salivate againnnn. Food and service were very good. Prices are on the high side but they do have a lunch menu even on weekends. Must order the crab cakes!!!!!!! As for the steak, wanted medium but came medium rare.
Amazing meal! Fresh lobster with delicious sauces, and would definitely recommend the casino clams as well. The ribeye was perfectly grilled with a nice crust, great to share between two with some sides. Definitely go for the hash brown! Got a tasty birthday dessert, but glad I ordered the warm cookies too, so good!
