Lao Si Chuan - Singapore

Tucked in Tiong Bahru area near Link Hotel, this restaurant packs quite a fair number of tables with proper safe distancing measures. Welcomed by bamboo decorations and ordering through a tablet, the food selection is quite alot. Our order came through rather slowly though, even though the dinner crowd was so-so. Food is nice and we had the fresh 小龙虾 too. Price is considered reasonable at $150 for 4 of us with quite some dishes.

The beef is fantastic and full of flavor, but the fish is somewhat disappointing as it doesn't taste very fresh. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal.

In my opinion, they serve the best spicy chicken! However, be aware that the chef is quite generous with the spices, so if you’re not good with heat, I recommend ordering it mild. Whether you dine in or get takeaway, it tastes just as delicious!
