It offers the traditional zi char style in a comfortable air-conditioned setting, with the option for outdoor seating as well. We had a great dining experience, enjoying dishes like fried rice noodles, salted ice cream, chicken wings, fish skin, and tofu cooked in large woks. The service was quick, following the typical Singaporean style of efficiency. The food came out piping hot, the restaurant was lively and bustling, and guests are not encouraged to linger after their meal.
I highly recommend trying the famous San Lou Mee Hon and fried garlic chili clams (lala) at this restaurant for a farewell meal. They use larger Russian mussels or smaller and sweeter Philippine mussels. The white pepper crab is also a popular dish here. The restaurant was full and many people enjoyed their meals in silence during the evening. The food is delicious and I recommend trying it.
