Istanbul Grill's And Cafe - Singapore

This restaurant is situated in Bugis, on Arab Street, near Masjid Sultan. The atmosphere in this area is absolutely fantastic, and the vibe while dining here was wonderful. Our waiter was very friendly and recommended some excellent dishes. The food was outstanding; I’ve never had such a flavorful dining experience before. The meat was incredibly tender and bursting with spices and Turkish flavors. Even the Western dishes, like the fish and chips, had a distinctive Turkish twist. The prices were reasonable given the quality and ambiance of the restaurant. The only downside was that one seat in the restaurant was near broken tiles, leading to an unpleasant sewer smell. Nevertheless, the food was excellent, the staff was attentive, and overall, it was a fun experience!

The restaurant offers a lovely atmosphere, located at the entrance of Baghdad Street, which provides a beautiful view of the surrounding buildings and the mosque. We had dinner on a cool December evening. The menu was refreshingly diverse, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it was a very relaxed and enjoyable dining experience!

I ordered the Lamb Mandhi and the Istanbul Meze Tabagi, and everything was absolutely delicious and authentic. The leg of lamb was slow-cooked to perfection, falling off the bone, and it was served alongside flavorful rice and salad. The meze came with fresh bread, which was a lovely touch. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly, especially Dr. Nadim. As a wonderful surprise, I even received a lovely little gift!

On November 28, we visited the Arab Street area to explore the diverse Arab shops, restaurants, and bars. It’s a vibrant and colorful place, offering a unique atmosphere quite different from the typical image of Singapore. We settled at a restaurant with outdoor seating, where we received great service, and the cold apple tea was superb. Although I didn't eat, the others in my group really enjoyed their meals.
