Donya Japanese Cuisine - Singapore

The food is pretty good. Some of my friends ordered the mentai and they really enjoyed it. Since I'm not a fan of mentai, I opted for the curry instead, which was decent.

I discovered this restaurant known for its budget-friendly Japanese donburi and salmon rolls. I opted for their signature salmon roll, which comes with four pieces—great for a quick bite. The sushi rice was light and delightful, and the flame-seared salmon along with the salmon roe topping were fresh and bursting with flavor. Overall, the roll was expertly crafted, with a perfectly firm texture. It was a fantastic dining experience, especially considering how busy it can be. On my next visit, I'm definitely planning to try their donburi!

I ordered the mentaiko chicken cutlet don, and it was absolutely delicious. The cutlet was perfectly fried, staying crispy even after I took it back to the office about five minutes later. The mentaiko sauce had a creamy mayonnaise flavor with a subtle hint of Pollock roe. I would definitely recommend this dish for a quick and tasty lunch!

I had the Donya Chicken Katsu Don, priced at $5.80, and it was delicious and a great value for a Japanese lunch. The flavor was excellent, and the service was also very good.
